The Cairdean Winery Estate in St. Helena is not only a fabulous winery, it’s also the home of the Brasswood Bar + Bakery + Kitchen, Redolent Mercantile, and Rosgal Gallery. Visitors will get a full experience – sipping wine, enjoy farm-to-table cuisine, and shopping for high quality art and gifts. For those wondering where the name “Cairdean” came from, it’s a Scottish Gaelic word for “friends”. At Cairdean Winery, they believe wine is meant to be shared with friends and those you love.
When you arrive at this Napa Valley winery, you’ll immediately fall in love with the picturesque and lush setting. It’s exactly what you expect when you think of the Napa Valley. Cairdean’s tasting room is open to the public. They offer a wide selection of wines. While their tasting menu changes, the high quality of the wine is consistent. Guests will feel warm and welcome in their spacious tasting room or on their glorious patio. Tasting room hours are from 10am-5pm daily.
Another fun was to wine taste at Cairdean Winery Estate is in their Winemaker’s Den. This private tasting room is furnished with a masculine elegance that includes reclaimed wood, a black marble table, and leather club chairs. A unique and elegant chandelier made from wine bottles is a main feature in this room. If you’re interested in a private wine tasting experience, this room is available by reservation.
Enjoying food at Cairdean is also a highlight of the trip. For a more intimate experience, they offer a private dining experience at their Brasswood Bar + Kitchen. This farm-to-table restaurant serves wine country comfort food to visitors at an elegant, large communal table. Reservations can be made by calling (707) 302-5101. If you prefer to just pop in for a quick bite, their Brasswood Bar + Bakery is an artisan bakery and deli. It’s open daily from 9am-6pm. Their sandwiches, pastas, salads, and desserts are all hand-made and can be enjoyed inside or “picnic-style” on the winery’s grounds.
