up valley castle tour body imageOur Up Valley Castle Tour begins at Castello di Amorosa, a 13th century inspired Tuscan castle nestled in the hills of Calistoga. You’ll take a step back in time as you approach the stunning castle surrounded by vineyards and old olive trees. On your tour, you will find out the fascinating story and history of the castle and finish with a tasting of handcrafted Italian-style wines.

Your next stop will be Franciscan Estate Winery, where you will enjoy a picnic style lunch followed by a tasting of the estate’s wide selection of quality wines. You are welcome to browse their visitor’s center to learn more about Franciscan’s history and innovation in the industry or simply sip and savor their wines in the beautiful courtyard.

The last destination will be at one of our premier Napa Valley Winery partners, which rotate on a daily basis, for a final tasting experience of Napa’s world-class wines. Our tour will come to an end as we head back to V-Marketplace in Yountville where you can do a little shopping or grab a bite to eat at one of many delicious restaurants, all within walking distance. Or, if you’d like to wrap up your day, our trolley can drive you back to one of our five hotel stops.
